Hearing of the small and medium producers ended without consensus
ANP and the oil industry have not reached a consensus about the ordinance draft that defines the criteria to an oil producer be considered as a small or medium company. Representatives of the agency and the companies participated on the public hearing held on April 17th. The regulatory body proposes the production limits of 500 barrels/day and 5 thousand b/d for small and medium producers, respectively. The representatives from those oil companies request a higher limit that may benefit more the companies and ensure its operations for a longer period.
