São Paulo prepara leilão de gás natural para 2014

A Agência Reguladora de Saneamento e Energia do Estado de São Paulo (Arsesp) prepara regulamentação para a realização de leilões de gás natural destinados a garantir preço e diversidade de suprimento para atendimento das distribuidoras que atuam no estado de São Paulo. A perspectiva é que o primeiro possa ocorrer até o final de 2014, embora não se descarte um horizonte mais estendido em razão das questões ainda a solucionar, abrindo assim o mercado para que outros players, além da Petrobras, possam atuar como fornecedores.

São Paulo sets natural gas bid for 2014
The Regulatory Agency of Sanitation and Energy of the State of São Paulo (Arsesp) is drafting a regulation to hold natural gas bids aiming at guaranteeing price and quantity to attend the natural gas distributors that execute their activities in the State of São Paulo. The first bid is expected to be held until the end of 2014. However, the possibility of a longer period for the bid is considered due to the issues that still need to be solved, such as the opening of the market to others players to act as suppliers, besides Petrobras.
